Man, this video brings me back.
Back to the days where the number of monkey bars you could skip on one swing etched your name in playground lore; To the days when using every bit of strength in your legs to soar to new heights on the swings was gloat-worthy; To the days of racing girls around the playground as a sign of affection; To the day I realized that I felt a something weird for the cute blonde girl with the bright smile and didn’t know what to do about it; To the days when making an impression was a jungle gym away, not a concrete jungle.
Well, maybe not all those days. But at least the ones when you just had to shove a smaller kid a side to prove playground supremacy. Impressing a girl was never so easy. The story starts with Dan Auerbach bringing his son to the playground to play with Patrick Carney’s male off-spring. Insert cute 8 year-old girl. Young boys fight over said girl. Father’s are proud of the masculinity their sons are showcasing.
Soon, an all out brawl ensues and the fathers try to break it up only to get sucked into the mayhem. Enter previous cute girl’s really hot mom.
Like father, like son….
